Over the last few weeks I've been working on a short film. A fabricated documentary, in the imagined style of a mid-80s Tomorrow's World episode, essentially a photo-roman but with moving images, albeit that the camera is still:The style arose from necessity; I had no way to move the camera smoothly through space. What with the Fuji X100 bagging all the headlines, I've decided to have a look at one of Fuji's older cameras, the Fujifilm Finepix S3 Pro. It was one of the most interesting digital SLRs of the last decade or so, with a sensor that emphasised dynamic range rather than resolution.
